Most Charges in BU/AEPi Hazing Case Dropped

The Boston Globe reports that most of the initial charges related to the hazing incident involving pledges of Alpha Epsilon Pi at Boston University have been dropped. Only two of the original nine defendants still face criminal charges.

Jesse Kay, 20, and Spencer Davidson, 21, are described as the “ringleaders” of the incident, and face charges of assault and battery, hazing, and failure to report hazing. Among the others, a couple paid civil fines, others were able to prove they were not there and had the cases dropped. A few misdemeanor charges of failing to report hazing are still intact.
